How to reach the workshop locationDe Ruwenberg Hotel and Conference Center The main international airport in The Netherlands is Amsterdam (Schiphol) (100 km). Other international airports nearby are Brussels (Belgium) (140 km) and Düsseldorf (Germany) (150 km). There is also a small airport in Eindhoven (30 km), relatively close to the workshop location. In order to get by train from the airport to the city of 's-Hertogenbosch (also simply called Den Bosch), which is close (approx. 10 km) to the workshop location in Sint-Michielsgestel, you may consider the schedules on the websites of the train companies:
When looking up train connections from (to) Amsterdam International Airport (AMS), you should enter "Schiphol Airport" as the corresponding departure (arrival) train-station in the travel planner of the Dutch railway company. When using the train, please be aware of the following: When you buy a one-way ticket at the machine, you do not simply get a paper-ticket, but a so-called "single-use chipcard". The single-use chipcard is a paper ticket that contains a chip. After buying the ticket at the machine, you must "check-in" (by holding the card in front of one of the yellow posts) before you step on the train, otherwise the ticket is not validated. If you have something different than a one-way/single-use ticket, you should also "check-out" (again by holding the card in front of one of the yellow posts) after leaving the train.
